I'd like to explain more: your lesson must be interesting whatever it is. Even if you're teaching a grammar lesson,let students engage. Let them move. Let them act,or sing. You can teach grammar from a story,a song,and so on. Don't make your classes predictable. That means they know you're going through the same steps and methods of teaching. I'd agree that students need to know your instructions of each lesson,but not the way you're going to give it. So a teacher must balance between two things: predictability,and unexpected variety.
Unexpected variety: this means they don't know what you're teaching,and the lesson isn't organized. Just watching some videos to pass the time.
Teach them what you want and what they enjoy.
