There were two cats living by themselves on the same land near the city. They shared the same food that was given to them by local people or those who walked on the street. Every day, people had empathy towards them, so they gave them food, but never thought of adapting those two adorable cats to their house and taking care of them properly. Until one day, it was raining; the cats were about to die; they had nowhere to hide. Then, there was a rich family driving their car. They saw the two cats from a distance. The family had two children at the age of twelve—they were twins. The kids love animals. The two kids’ names were July and John. They insisted on helping these two cats: Joey and Nero. Their family didn’t like the idea of taking two street cats and letting them live inside their beautiful house, but after they saw their children loving the two cats, they had to agree. They put them in their car and dried them off. The cats were smiling and saying “meow…meow.” They needed to eat. So the family stopped by a store that had food for animals. They bought the food and let the cats eat. Then, they went home safely. They lived in a beautiful and big house. Everything was fine until something happened. One night, the electricity was cut off in the whole city. It was a scary time. Cats can live in the dark, however. Their keepers used to walk them then. They loved their cats. The cats were so cute. Joey had a green eye while Nero had a blue eye. Although they had different eye-color, they both had brown fur. While they were walking, Joey fell into a big hole that led him into a dark place. Nero didn’t see what happened. It was fast. The family didn’t see Joey either and was sad. They wish that Joey were with them. The electricity had worked before they went home. Joey didn’t die but was hurt. The police saw him while they were investigating. He had a tag around his neck. A mobile number was written on the tag. Luckily, the police got Joey and delivered him home safely. The family took care of him. They were over the moon when the cat returned home safely
