Who says not to make a mistake, we all make mistakes. We actually learn writing and proofreading by reading English grammar books and trying to correct students' mistakes. Below is provided an example of a piece of writing before editing and after editing with answers. So, first, try to correct the exercise by yourself. Then look at the proofreading exercise with answers to check your answers. You need to learn English to improve your writing.

proofreading exercise:

the piece of writing before editing would look like this:

Today is December 10nd. I want to tell you about my vacation in Korea with my mom.

Like you know, Korea is a country, which is famous for food like "kimchi" or "black noodles." When the plane landed, I felt excited because the weather had changed so it became freezing and windy. After I had done some procedures, me and my mom went to the KangWon Land with two large backpacks. In the backyard of the village, we saw many flowers and statues made of wood so we took many pictures about the plants. In the hotel, there was a Casino and it was crowded because I was too young so I couldn't stay there for long but it was long enough to see people playing cards then, we went to meet the receptionist to take the key to our room. When we came into that room we saw two big beds, a few pillows and two big blankets. In that room, we could see a beautiful view from the windows. The thing that made us surprise is fireworks play on the first day we came, but happen every day because a guest they can't stay for long so we saw fireworks at 7:00 pm. Everything is perfect, even the air. After we had watched the fireworks we took a sleep and then went to the market the next day. In Korea, people are friendly and kind, especially, the fruit is giant and delicious. I love watermelon and rice because it is big. I still remember, when i came to the bus, the driver said Korean so we did not understand and he can't speak English and that is the most funny thing about Koreans, they cannot speak English! I think their parents or the government don not think English is important so we had to spend time talking with him by body language. At least, me and my mom think live in Korea is a good choice because its brings for us lots of good feelings and we love this place so much.I'll talk with you later, send back me a letter soon!

Today is December 10th,2020. I want to tell you about my vacation in Korea with my mom.

As you know, Korea is a country, which is famous for food like "kimchi" or "black noodles." When the plane landed, I felt excited because the weather had changed so it became freezing and windy. After I had done some procedures, I and my mom went to the KangWon Land with two large backpacks. In the backyard of the village, we saw many flowers and statues made of wood so we took many pictures of the plants. In the hotel, there was a Casino and it was crowded because I was too young so I couldn't stay there for long but it was long enough to see people playing cards then, we went to meet the receptionist to take the key to our room. When we came into that room; we saw two big beds, a few pillows, and two big blankets. In that room, we could see a beautiful view from the windows. The thing that surprised us was fireworks played on the first day we came. Fireworks were done every day because we didn’t have to stay for long so we saw fireworks at 7:00 pm. Everything was perfect, even the air. After we had watched the fireworks, we took a nap and then went to the market the next day. In Korea, at that time,  people were friendly and kind, especially, the fruit was giant and delicious. I love watermelon and rice because it was big. I still remember, when I came to the bus, the driver spoke Korean so we did not understand; he can't speak English either. That was the funniest thing about Koreans, they couldn’t speak English! I thought their parents or the government did not think English was important. we had to spend time talking with him by body language. At least, I and my mom thought living in Korea was a good choice because it brought us lots of good feelings. We loved this place so much. I’d talk with you later, send back me a letter soon!

After all, I think living in Korea is quite nice.
