10 years ago, I had a page on Facebook called Learn Special English. It had a few people. At that time, I saw other pages that had millions or thousands of fans. I was a little disappointed because I didn't have any idea about marketing. As you know, when there are few people on a page, people tend not to trust it.
It was so hard to find students to teach. I have to admit it. Without digital marketing, your business will never see light. Also, the available payment methods such as PayPal, VISA, or MasterCard weren't available back then. That caused me to lose money because some students wanted to learn English with me, Mr. Zaki Badr at that time. I had a few students that used Western Union as a payment method. They were from Arab gulf countries. My business was small and growing so slowly like when a turtle moves.
So, I was thinking a little, what can I do to get better? what should I do to reach more students and grow my business? Should I do ads? how to do ads? what types of marketing campaigns?
The answer to my questions was easy: digital marketing. After I have learned good skills in marketing, content marketing, how to write a compelling story that describes the problems of the potential students and understands their needs, it has become easy to catch their attention. Now, my page has more than 56 thousand students all around the globe. I am on my way to success.
