Essay about violence and how to deal with it written by Kally, a Vietnamese citizen, one of teacher Zaki Badr's foreign students.
The students have the most beautiful time in each of our lives. Unfortunately, however, the innocence of the student is no longer constant. Instead, some students tend to be violent, quarrel, and bully in the school who have harsh and obscene words for each other; they readily hit others on the road for no reason. I believe that these problems come from the family, living environment, or the school environment.
In this case, the family is an essential factor, where the students have had an improper education or lack of family attention. Concretely, domestic violence is also a part of negatively influencing students who have a terrible attitude toward their classmates. Because they see wrong actions from their parents, students are in the habit of copying from the grown-up. Therefore, we should create the proper education for the family in the first step.
In addition, the living environment is the second factor. Many young people have many opportunities to approach the internet and social networks, where there is a source of information about violence and promoting violence; they mimic the immoral actions to alleviate their discomfort. For example, in 2016, the clip was being spread on Facebook. A group of students brutally tortured their classmate because he could not pay back 5000 VND. This action alerts that families and schools have strict punishment for brutal action.
Moreover, The heavy study of knowledge or exams is a big problem for the students. They get many subjects or rich curricula facing stress, and some tend to be handled by violent action. Therefore, I think the best way to deal with this case is that we should establish many extracurricular activities and life skill programs that help them to build solidarity.
I firmly believe that we need strict punishment for bad actions and develop an awareness of students.
